Radio Dabanga, citing UNICEF, reported that a drone strike on a displacement shelter in El Obeid killed a boy and injured 12 children. A separate attack hit university accommodation. Dabanga said it could not independently verify responsibility for that separate strike.
A driver was killed when two contracted WFP aid trucks were attacked between Dilling and Kadugli on 3 October, according to a WFP statement reported by Radio Dabanga. The agency said the vehicles were clearly marked and called for an impartial investigation.
